My Answers:
1.It is always best when Tucker does not go out on the upstairs deck because he has fallen off it twice (The Humans have a nice pop up catio for him when he wants to venture out there.
2.The best part of last week was my first foray of the season out to the upstairs deck (as long as The Male or Female Human are out there, the rest of us can go out if we stay off the railing.
3.Every summer, I have to remind the Male and Female Human that I want to join them on the upstairs deck. Good grief, how many times does a cat have to stand inside and look sad?
4.Once upon a time, my brother and I were shelter kittens and now look at me, I’m livin’ la vida loca!

It does look as if you all do have a pretty good life. That was really scary, we bet, the two times Tucker fell of the deck. We have a nice catio, but our upper deck is totally open. Mom gets really nervous when we get up on the railing. Enjoy your deck time. Oh, the Female Human cries every time she thinks of Tucker plunging twice 35 feet into the ravine. And when we’re on the railing she totally freaks out so the catio makes everyone happy! Happy summer and enjoy your catio time!

I am so sorry, Tucker … but that photo underneath the bit about the deck might give me nightmares. I mean, you can be completely adorable … but also look vaguely homicidal all at once (I imagine you might feel this way since you can’t get on the deck anymore).

Purrseidon is now wishing she’d been a shelter kitty like you, not to mention wishing she had a deck with a ravine below. At least she has a catio, though we ‘staff members’ call is a screen porch, so there is a bit of a property rights issue there.

Ah, but Purrseidon has excellent staff , ours are not always so accommodating. The Tribe of Five are campaigning for a catio structure in the downstairs garden. The hysterical Female Human keeps reminding the Male Human that the downstairs garden is where the last three bears have shown up. I’m guessing we’re stuck with the portable pop up catio.

That upstairs patio looks paw-some. All we have is a screened-in porch. Mom wants to put in a catio, but can’t figure out how to do it. Our sliding door opens onto a big patch of concrete.
