Hi Folks,
Oliver here, just chillin’ and enjoying one of my favorite treats, wheat grass, while I purruse the neighborhood. We’re still waiting for spring at our house but the good news is almost half the snow is gone from the front yard!
I hope you enjoy this week’s fill ins and as always, you can go to McGuffy’s Reader and join the blog hop or join it at our friends blog 15andmeowing. Or, if you’re so inclined, you can leave your fill in answers in the comment section of this post. We love to have our friends meow at us!
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Here are the fill in questions:
1. I am the _________________ in my family.
2. I have __________________ sibling(s).
3. I am looking forward to this Spring.
Here are my answers:
1.I am the most heat loving cat in my family . Whenever the humans look for me, they first check all the floor heat vents. They call me a “heat hog” as I’ll block a vent until my fur is so warm it’s almost on fire. And, speaking of fire, the fireplace is one of my favorite spots. Here is a photo of me blocking the vent under the kitchen sink.
2.I have five siblings. Actually only one is a blood relative and that’s Alberto my brother (I know, we don’t look anything alike) but the other three tribe members are adopted siblings and we’re all a happy family.
3.I am looking forward to butterfly chasing this spring. Our house has big windows and there are always birds and butterflies fluttering around. The Female Human managed to capture one of my fierce butterfly hunts from last summer.
4.The first sign of spring this year was not yet seen. Dude, we still have snow in the yard and not one robin has flown past our windows! Spring will take a bit longer in our neck of the woods. In the meantime, I’m hunkering down and staying cozy.
2. I have five siblings. Only one is related by blood and that’s my sister Jasmine. The rest are rescue adoptees into the family.
3. I am looking forward to sitting on the front porch with my humans this spring.
I learned a lot about you today. You and your tribe. I’ll call you the heat hog from now on. Oh wait, I’ll let your mom do that.
Have a purrfect day. My best to your mom. ♥

Our spring began with a snowstorm. And another one is forecast for Saturday. I think it will be a while before any butterflies show up for any of us this year. Stay warm until spring arrives. You certainly are a heat seeker. Love the photos. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

Hello my cold weather friends. I hope you guys get to see spring soon. We’re not completely done with snow and the ski area extended it’s closing date for two weeks. We felines are just going to hunker down by a heat source and wait it out. Stay warm and cuddle up!

You have a point. That sassy pine squirrel stands on the upstairs deck and screeches at us. I mean rally, all we’re doing is staring at him through the glass doors. We do like to watch the robins take a shower in our backyard waterfall except those darn humans never let us out to go over and extend the “paw of friendship”

Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, Oliver, great answers. You are very clever to get warmed up on the heating vents. I am glad you are one big happy family. Have a nice weekend! XO

Hope you have better luck with spring than we have. It snowed last week and iced last night. We’re never going to be able to open the windows and talk to the birds. Purrs, Snoops and Kommando Kitty

Oh Snoops and Kommando,
We feel your pain. The only good news we have is that the last two days forecast for snow were rain. And there is bright green stuff starting to pop up in the garden!
Hang in there my furiends!

Hey Snoops and Kommando Kitty,
Yesterday morning when the Female Human emerged from the bedroom and walked in the kitchen, so looked out the window and made a howl sound that was very feline sounding. I guess it was because it was SNOWING AGAIN!
