Hello Furiends,

“I’m not fat, I just have big bones.” – Oliver
I know, I know, I’m purrticipating in the Friday blog hop on Saturday…so sue me. It’s a long weekend and I’m having a hard time getting in gear. Although, with my girth getting in gear for anything is a struggle. The Female Human is so concerned about me she’s taking me to the vet next week to see why I’m gaining so much weight. Believe it or not, I’m not a snack eater, rarely partake of the wet food and am pretty much a “kibble only” kind of guy so my weight increase is a bit of a mystery. I told The Female Human I just have big bones.
Oh well, enough about me, let’s enjoy this week’s fill ins blog hop brought to you by the good folks at 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs. You’re invited to join the blog hop or, opine about your answers in the comment section.
Here are this week’s questions:
2. I try to avoid _________________.
3. If I had a catchphrase, it would be _________.
4. _________ motivates me to work hard.
My Answers:

Me engaging in my favorite activity, which is no activity. – Oliver
2. I try to avoid exerting myself during playtime as much as possible. See how I handle my brother Alberto’s aggressive moves.

Tucker and I working hard at not working. – Oliver
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers Oliver. I think I am a cat, nothing motivates me to work hard 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend! XO

Oliver I’ve got big bones too……..22 lbs. of them in fact. My vet says I’m healthy – just HUGE. I’m very good at lounging as well – it’s definitely my favorite activity NEXT to going for a walk on my leash with Mom or Dad. Hope you have a FAB Sunday!

Meowser, Oliver! You had purrfect answers. Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend and the nasty vet doesn’t find anything wrong. That having been said, my furiend, Ophlia has a thyroid problem and problems gaining weight – too bad you two can’t share problems, then maybe you’d both be the purrfect weight.

Thank you. One thing I have to say about The Female Human is that she stays in top of our health. (I just hope the vet’s diagnosis will not result in diet restrictions!)

Great fill in answers, Oliver. Answered like the cat that you are. 🙂 FYI, kibble is much higher in calories than wet food, so if that’s what you’re eating, it might explain why you’re gaining weight.

Thanks for the tip. The Female Human has been trying to get me off the kibble and to eat wet food as well (we get wet AM and PM ) but I am a kibble kind of guy. Looks like I’ll have to change my eating habits.

My name is Chaucer. I am a white cat with a black tail, ears and nose. We look so much alike that we must be related somehow. I am also a very big guy. The vet says , “he is BIG!” but not unhealthy. My mom says I am big because she is a softie and gives all of us kittehs too many treats, but my sisfurs are not fat. They are slim. They like to climb. I like to sleep.

Good to meet you Chaucer! We have much in common in addition to our floffyness, my brother Alberto is a lean, mean, feline machine. Hard to believe he and I came from the same litter!

Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins, Oliver! “Keep calm and purr on.” That is a purrfect catchphrase, and we’re going to live by that. Purrs!
