Yes, it’s our favorite time of the week where our feline furiends opine about whatever they want. This week we’re introducing you to a wise old gentleman named Ginchan. He is a handsome man cat who will be turning 19 soon and he has a lot to say about super senior felines.
Ginchan lives with his human Mollie Hunt (a lady who writes fantastic Cat Lady mysteries as well as feline focused Sci-Fi! Ginchan is an author as well and you can follow his news and mewsings on his Facebook page.

We have had 6 kitties here, though only two were blessed to be actual seniors…sadly enough. (Ages almost 19, and almost 16…)

Ginchen, you are a very wise kitty. We have had many senior cats in our home through out the years, and our humans love them as fiercely as they did when they were kittens. Old Cats Rule! Ginchan! We are so happy that you spoke about elderly cats! Our Mom has had many cats and they have all lived into their 18th (or older) year! Except Kitty, she lived until she was 23! Yes, Old cats can be difficult, but they are more than worth it! We want to thank Feline Opines for giving us cats a voice! We hope you have a marvellously Happy Day!

We have had several cats and dogs come into our lives as pups and live to be senior citizens. We could all learn a lot about dealing with aging from them.

Ginchen’s a beautiful boy! It’s funny that I can hear a cat’s name and immediately know who the cat owns. Reminds me of when I started blogging and I knew the name of every cat on each blog – but had no idea of the humans attached to them. I guess in the end, it truly feels like a family.
