4. I have a love-hate relationship with the raccoon that keeps raiding our bird feeder. I hate the fact that she eats all the seed and chases the birds away but I love to see the “wildlife action” outside our windows.

  1. Ms. GA has a raccoon that loves the cat food she puts out for her feral colony (all TNR, i assure you). She has to feed him first so he’ll let the cats eat!

Your fall colors are lovely, we don’t see that here in the swamps of south Louisiana.

  2. Well done fill-ins! We have just about every other kind of animal helping themselves to our bird feeders but no raccoons yet…..notice I say “YET” because sooner or later I’m sure we’ll see one on a raid!

  3. Trees in the tropics don’t change color like that – it must be exciting and beautiful.
As per raccoons in your bird feeder, my staff puts habanero powder on the bird seed in our feeder because it is very healthy for the birds and squirrels won’t touch it… You might want to see if it works on raccoons.

  5. Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins, Jasmine! We can’t wait for nature to change colors. Autumn is such a beautiful color. And we have a raccoon who steals the feral kitties’ food sometimes. It sure is fun to watch wildlife, but we’re always on the lookout to make sure the raccoon doesn’t hurt the ferals. Have a beautiful day!
